Fatma Lucy Nyambura
Fatma is a Policy Officer focussing on commodity trading and state owned enterprises transparency. Her work entails development and implementation of policies to increase disclosure of oil, gas and minerals sales and purchases. Fatma also provides project management support to the policy team and assists in co-ordinating the commodity trading working group.
Prior to joining the EITI, Fatma worked in development consulting and was involved in the implementation of extractive industry and private sector programmes in Ghana, Georgia, Liberia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Fatma is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Certified Public Secretary. She holds a Masters degree in Mineral Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Law from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
In her spare time Fatma loves to read books, try out new recipes and spend time with her family.
